Iran Cinema Museum to screen Italy films

A line up of three Italian movies are on screen in Iran Cinema Museum.

The movies handpicked to screen have been well received by Italian cinema critiques and viewership.

'Leopardi' directed by Mario Martone, Francesco Bruni's 'Easy' and 'The House' by the Medlar Tree are the three movies to be shown during this cultural event.

Italian ambassador in Iran, Mauro Conciatori attended the opening ceremony of the event which was held on March 15, 2018.

Mauro Conciatori mentioned that in the upcoming weeks and months Italy would hold other cultural events too.

He added, 'We hope for more cultural exchanges with Iran especially with Cinema Museum of Iran.'

By the foresight and aspiration of the managers of the Cultural Spaces Development Company (affiliated to Tehran Municipality), the Cinema Museum of Iran was launched in September 1994, aiming to collect, safeguard, record and provide a proper presentation of the Iranian cinematic heritage.

The screening of Italian films in Cinema Museum of Iran is underway March 15-17, 2018.
